It started for me when I bought my first house and decided that I didn't like the wall that was dividing the living room from the kitchen so after I took out the wall and installed the new beam we discovered that the floor really needed to be replaced, then I discovered that the sub floor needed to b replaced.  That is when we found the wiring that needed upgrading. Hmmm... the bathroom looks small can we make it larger, can we fit a bigger tub? This continued until the whole house was renovated. After we finished the house in Bridgeland, we sold it and purchased and developed an acreage, where we built an ICF house. Thats how we got started with renos.
